Eu - One year on - Dangerous Predictions

|
The .eu namespace has been operational for almost a year at this point. In the intervening period we've seen a lot of very upset people, as Eurid's management of both Sunrise and Landrush led to thousands of domains being warehoused. During the same year we also saw the launch of .mobi, which is aimed at the mobile internet. Although the launch of .xxx was put on ice there has been some activity in that area in recent weeks. Meanwhile .asia is preparing to launch. So where does that leave .eu? Will we see a massive reduction in the number of registered domains as both individuals and companies realise how little value the namespace holds? I would predict that there will be a massive drop in registered domains around the anniversary period (April). Hopefully the warehousers will drop some of their less attractive domains in the process which may lead people to find a new value in .eu, but I won't be holding my breath.

EU Price Drop - Where is it?

We're now into January 2007 but most of the big registrars don't seem to have made any change to their pricing on .eu The only price drop I've found so far was with Joker.com Has anyone else dropped the price?
